This is always a popular and hilarious evening (and does not involve real pigs!). Delicious pizzas will be available on the night. You can purchase and “own” a pig in advance of the night, if your pig wins a race you will win a voucher for a local business (worth around £40) or a bottle of Champagne. Every £10 will go directly into Prickles in a Pickle funds. To purchase a pig, please click on the link below which will take you to our online shop where you can choose your favourite name or names. Volunteers Needed for Hedgehog Care!

Spring is just around the corner, we are already seeing an increase in hedgehogs needing our professional care and help. The busy season is just around the corner with babies being orphaned and last years hoglets getting into all sorts of trouble. We are looking to recruit and train up new volunteers. We are especially short of Saturday and Sunday Mornings 9-1pm. Shifts can be weekly or fortnightly. Full training is given and initially you would be cleaning out and weighing the hedgehogs or helping with the washing up of their dishes and helping with the laundry. You would work alongside 4 or 5 others each shift and have lots of laughs as well as helping the Hedgehogs.

Prickles in a Pickle is a well run charity saving the lives of hedgehogs in South Devon. We are located in Stoke Fleming near Dartmouth so transport is essential. In some cases car share may be possible with other volunteers.
